What usually remains invisible to visitors.
Exhibiting an exhibition is a process that requires not only compositional thinking, the ability to arrange works in space so that they “talk” to each other, but also a lot of physical endurance. Measurements, hanging, moving, searching for the most suitable height and distance – all this becomes an invisible part of the exhibition, which the viewer sees only in the final result. Behind each exhibition lie hours of work, discussions and careful preparation.
We share moments from the process of exhibiting the joint painting exhibition “Silence and Light. Returns”, when the works gradually found their place in the space.
Artists participating in the exhibition: Antanas Andziulis, Aušra Andziulytė, Laima Drazdauskaitė, Aistė Juškevičiūtė, Gintaras Kušlys, Serena Pečiūnaitytė.
The exhibition can be visited until July 19.
