On May 20, a cozy introductory meeting was held at the Trakai Vokė Manor, bringing together the creator and organizer of the first international creative residency “Baltic Shorts Residency”, the Trakai Vokė Manor team and representatives of the Vilnius City Municipality together with Vice Mayor Simona Bieliūne.
During the meeting, not only did they get to know each other, but they also shared experiences, discussed the possibilities of creative residencies, the future vision of the Trakai Vokė Manor and the importance of international cooperation in the field of culture. The guests were also shown the restored spaces of the manor.
This spring, the Trakai Vokė Manor entered a new stage of activity – for the first time in the historical space, the international creative residency “Baltic Shorts Residency” is taking place, bringing together short film makers from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Until June 4, the first creators are residing in the manor, developing scripts for new short films and participating in an intensive creative program.
