Cinema in the manor

The impressive spaces of the Counts Tiškevičius residence in Trakai Vokė Manor are distinguished by their authentic architecture, historical interiors and extensive park ensemble, making them ideal for film filming. The large halls, representative rooms, staircases and surrounding landscape architecture make it easy to recreate different historical periods and atmospheres. Due to this versatility, the manor has repeatedly become a filming location for international film projects, attracting famous directors and world-class actors.

The BBC series “War and Peace”, the Netflix series “The Last Tsars”, the films “Anna Karenina”, “Catherine the Great” and others were filmed here, starring stars such as Helen Mirren, Lily James and Paul Dano. Famous directors have also worked at the manor, including Hollywood filmmaker Lasse Hallström, who filmed the biographical film “Hilma” here.
